You Tube tutorial with Lock-Itz and TLC Inspired Crafting

I haven't been able to get crafty in a while, so today's special treat for my blog is the terrific and easy to use Lock-Itz dies!
Have you seen the Newest die trend?  I've not seen anything like these dies!   They allow you to cut 1/2 of the design on each end of any size paper and then score them wherever you like (although there are directions on back for a standard A2 size card).
I've created one with the Cupcake Tower Die today and I snapped some shots while I cut and assembled it to show you just how quick and easy it can be!  Enjoy these dies!  They're super easy to use and a great deal of fun to design with!
Step 1.  For A2 size use a paper that measures 12"w x 5.5"h and place dies cut side down on the side you want to show on the front at 1.75" inward from both ends with the design facing outward to the edge of the paper like above.
Step 2.  Run the die through your favorite die machine and it will cut the design out like above.
Step 3.  Did I mention how beautifully these dies cut?  Woo Hoo!  Almost done.
Step 4.  In order to make the cut design POP, cut a few pieces of your favorite DP. Here I used a pretty sheet from the Splendid Azure 6 x 6 pad from the TLC Inspired Crafting line.

Step 5.  Turn the card over and meet the edges of the paper in the center (or off to either side) and push the paper down and score where the fold occurs on each side of the card.  Once you've scored the edges, just pull upward on one side and slide the design together with the other side.  It will look like the above.

Step 6.  I cut the design again and cut ONLY the cupcake out of the Splendid Azure design paper and glued it onto the base design.  I added two strips of the Washi Tape you can find to match the paper in the store and then some glitter!  That's it!  It's a really quick and simple project!
